Black Arabian Horses Facts:

Many Arabians appear to be black when they are in fact a dark bay. A true black Arabian horse will not carry the agouti (bay) modifier which can be tested for with a simple hair sample. Black Arabians can appear bay, mousy color, brown or black when born.
