When carving a pumpkin one of the best carving Halloween ideas to try is using a miniature carving kit. When carving the pumpkin pattern carve from the outside and slowly work your way in leaving a thin layer of pulp from the inside of the pumpkin.
One of my favorite Halloween ideas that I use is for treats. You will need a box of tissues, embroidery thread or ties and a bag of lolipops. When getting ready for Halloween have the kids place the tissues over the lolipop and tie it around the base of the candy making a ghost. Draw faces with small markers and your Halloween treat idea will be the hit of the nieghborhood.
