The uniforms of the White Sox baseball team have changed appearance significantly from the team's formation. For the season iof 1912 the White Sox decided to make a major change to thier blue and white uniforms and logo. The baseball team decided to spell out the word SOX on the uniforms in blue with red trim on the shirts.
The White Sox won the baseball world championships in 1917.
Luke Appling, a short stop player, was a White Sox baseball all-star several years in his career. He was chosen for the White Sox all star in the years 1936, 1939, 140, and 1941.
The White Sox won the World Series Champions 1906, 1917, and 2005.
Boston White Sox member Jon Mead was inducted into the White Sox hall of fame in 2005, the year they won the World Series.
